Join Eastland historian, Dr. David Nelson, grandson of Elmer Nelson, an East;land rescuer and welder. As director of Remember the Easland, Dr. Nelson is dedicated to preserving the memory of the 1915 disaster that claimed 844 lives–the worst loss of life from a single shipwreck on the Great Lakes.
