The Wilmington Public Library District is now accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant. Under the supervision of the Library Director, this position is responsible for assisting the Library Director and Assistant Director with day-to-day operations of the library. This position requires High School Diploma, two years experience working in an office and previous experience in a public contact position. This part-time 20 hour per week position requires day, evening and weekend hours. The job description for this position is available at the library. Applications will be accepted until April 28. Building Update
The Library is conducting a thorough feasibility and site evaluation study regarding the potential renovation and expansion of our existing library.
The Library is committed to engaging the community in our facilities planning process and will provide periodic updates. We will be asking for your thoughts and comments throughout the development of our long-term facilities plan so please stay tuned for ways you can get involved in the coming months!
